About The CottageDairy Cottage is in the charming Liverpool suburb of Woolton. It is a grade 2 listed building dating back to 1839. Orignally part of a guest house, the cottage then became the shop for Smith's Dairy Farm. George Toogood Smith was uncle to John Lennon, who lived here briefly with his parents at the age of 2. John visited other family members at the house regularly throughout childhood and Beatle years. More recently it was home to martial arts legend, Ronnie Colwell, who played host at the cottage to many well known names in the field including boxers Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson.
